A beautiful heavy silk shawl with an array of peacock feathers in gold and swirling colourful eyes. Lined in blue chiffon and fringed with coiled metal threads. 98" x 26.5" x 7.5" fringe. A further Victorian black silk skirt 23" waist with a black silk apron (3).

1443A VICTORIAN TARTAN FULL CIRCLE CLOAK
This early Victorian tartan cloak, is made from wool, with a wonderful ruffled neckline, tied at the front with a ribbon. The cloak is a full circle with one back seam. The cloak is double lined for warmth with a soft red satin silk outer lining. Needs airing (1).

A white pure linen jacket Tailored by Michael The Tailor Milsom Street, Bath boned buttons, inner pockets, fully lined. Size 42 and a further fawn linen jacket Size 42 (2).

1578aA PAIR OF 1920s ELABORATE PELMETS
The longer pelmet 8ft long with a depth at both ends of 28", undulating to 21" depth, rising back to 13" depth. The damask silk is duck egg in colour with a repeat pattern of butterflies, flowers and leaves. There are 3 main tassels all with rosette tops in duck egg blue and cream. Many silk covered wooden tassels hanging from the bottom of the pelmet in duck egg blue with twisted silk piping bordering the bottom edge. There are some silk embroidered leaves appliqued in a French grey colour and 4 main wired leafy sprays of mistletoe berries in cream with leaves. Interlined with an upholsterers hessian and lined with a natural original fabric in cream. The Smaller pelmet is 92" long with the depth at both ends 26", undulating to 20" depth, rising back to 12" depth. 8 main tassels with rosette tops, many silk covered tassels. Also interlined and lined.

1659TWO QING DYNASTY CHINESE ROBES
A dark red robe with Ten five clawed dragons embroidered and couched in gold wrapped thread, with cranes and bats amongst clouds above a lishui border, rocks and waves. 42" length x 64" from cuff to cuff across the shoulder x 20" width of sleeve. A lilac Chinese robe with peking knot peonies and other flowers within a band of embroidered edging. A modern lining has been added. 53" length x 52" cuff to cuff. a further pair of silk damask trousers with embroidered bands and blue cotton waistband with buttons. 25" waist x 35.5" length (3).

An C18th wall hanging made from brown sacking cloth with mirror work. 79" x 52". A black wool cloth with gold wrapped thread couched depicting crowns and fringed edge. 50" x 50". A blue silk embroidered panel with five clawed dragons. 58" x 19". An embroidered bolster cover 31.5" x 12". A blue and grey woven panel. 54" x 15" (5).

1661AN C18TH CHINESE PANEL IN THE STYLE OF AN EIGHTH ARMY BANNER
Possibly dating back to the C18th Century, a bordered banner of a dragon embroidered and couched in silk threads, bordered with a woven frame, backed with a printed cotton, attached and hanging from a bronze engraved swinging stand with clamp. The panel 21.5" x 22". A further English embroidered banner. 19" x 17" (2).

1688A C19TH CHINESE WEDDING APRON SKIRT
In wonderful condition, this apron skirt has 24 panels depicting five clawed dragons and phoenixes, couched in fine wrapped silk thread. The central panel has a five clawed dragon couched in gold thread, colourful silk embroidered butterflies, surrounded with woven trims. The skirt is lined in a green silk damask and has a cotton waistband. 40" length x 210" bottom corner to bottom corner (1).
