FIRST WORLD WAR PAIRS AND SINGLE MEDALS. A Great War Pair comprising War and Victory medals named to 145786 Gnr L.E.Hilder R.A. Leonard. E. Hilder is probably the soldier who is miss-recorded as 143786 L.E. Hilder who was wounded on 27th May 1918 and entitled to a wound stripe and is recorded with next of kin in Crediton. A similar pair named to T4-041540 DVR A.Payne ASC. A War Medal named to 113272 Pte F.J. Perry, M.G.C. Frederick Perry is recorded as Private 240944 in the Somerset Light Infantry as well as the Machine Gun Corps. And a similar award named to Lieut J.H.H. Brunt R.A.F. 6 medals.
