A THREE CLASP QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL TO THE ARTILLERY. A Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps for Cape Colony, Orange Free State and South Africa 1901, named to 3311 Gnr J.W.Frost R.G.A. John William Frost, who was also entitled to the 1902 clasp, was born in 1878 in Stockton on Tees, he attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery on 23rd April 1900, already a member of the 4th Battalion Norfolk Regiment, initially with a Short Commission that was extended to eight and then 12 years. Sold with roll extracts and copied record of service.
