A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE ROYAL SUSSEX REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to G-18683 Pte S.J. Watson R.Susex R. Stanley John Watson was born c1899 in Camberwell, Surrey, he was killed in action on the 4th of November 1918 whilst serving with the 9th (Service) Battalion (K3), he was 19 years old. He is buried at the Villers-Pol Communal Cemetery Extension 'Let Perpetual light Shine Upon Him' 16 further members of the 9th Battalion are at the same cemetery with him.
