A VICTORIAN RIFLE OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD.
An 1827 Pattern rifle officers sword, the 82cm pointed, fullered blade etched with interlaced VR to one side and a slung bugle to the other, the blade marked for Oliver and Co. London. The decorative guard with a slung bugle beneath a crown, with scabbard with twin ring suspension, 100cm.
