A VICTORIAN 1854 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD.
With a pointed single edged, partially fullered 82.5cm blade with monogram VRI to either side. The brass hilt with decorative guard with further VRI initials, wire bound handle and stepped oval pommel, in steel two ring scabbard. 103cm overall.
