the 3 1/2" enamelled dial on a brass eight day movement stamped H.F & Cie, Paris and serial number 789, striking half hourly to a gong, the case with porcelain urn surmount, gilt finials and alternating porcelain and glass panels to the sides, with pendulum and key, on a gilt shaped base, height 39cm
