A YEOMANRY CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD C.1800.
An early 19th century Yeomanry Cavalry Officer's Sword with a curved blade with fullers and hatchet point, with traces of decoration to both sides, with a flat back, the hilt with stirrup shaped handguard with lange to crossguard and replaced quillon, the backstrap and pommel decorated with lion's head and mane, the grips in ivory with twelve lines of multi-strand wire.
