AN AFRICA GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL. An Africa General Service Medal with Somaliland 1902-04 clasp. named to Lieut P. Spencer, R.N. H.M.S. Pomone. H.M.S. Pomone was a Pelorus class cruiser, built in the late 1890's she suffered from 'troublesome boilers' and was decommissioned in 1904 after a single foreign deployment.
