A BOER WAR/GREAT WAR CASUALTY GROUP OF FIVE. Comprising a Queen's South Africa Medal witrh Cape Colony, Transvaal, Laing's Nek and South Africa 1901 clasps to 22709 Bomb. W. Voce 2nd W.D. R.G.A. A 1914-15 Star to 2941 BMDR W. Voce R.G.A. War Medal and Victory Medal to 2941 Cpl W. Voce R.A. and a Long Service and Good Conduct Medal to 22709 GNR W. Voce R.G.A. Mounted as worn. 2941 William Voce is also recorded as serving as a Bombardier in the Labour Corps (368932) and as a Corporal in the London Regiment (82637). Whilst serving in France and Flanders with the Royal artillery he was wounded on the 25th January 1916 and consequently entitled to a wound stripe.
