A PAIR OF FLINTLOCK PISTOLS BY S EVANS.
A pair of Flintlock pistols with flared muzzle 8.1/8" long octagonal then round brass barrels, with underslung ramrods present. Sliding safety catches to the reverse of the action, S Evans on the steel lockplates. Brass furniture and chequered grips, BPC proof marks etc. Roller frizzens with swan neck cocks, 13.3/4" overall lengths.
A Samuel Evans is recorded as working in Cambridge, between 1829 and 1839. No other S Evans found as yet.
