The second print of the 88th (Connaught Rangers) in matching frame and size. Again with Bowen Lawton of Piccadilly label, dated May 28th 1937. Addressed to Col A L B Anderson at the Cavalry Club. Sir, With reference to your kind visit here yesterday afternoon, and your enquiry for an old costume plate of the 88th The Connaught Rangers. We now have the pleasure to inform you that we have managed to obtain the print we mentioned at the time of your call- the 'Oblong' Spooner Plate of the 88th Regiment- we can offer it to you at the same figure we quoted for the 18th Royal Irish Regiment, namely the moderate price of £4.10.0. It is a mint state impression in perfect condition, and has large margins.
