with a pencil drawing of Andrew Marvell by Ford Madox Brown, monogrammed and dated 78 in ink, 21.5 x 13cm.; `My Beautiful Lady` and `My Lady in Death`, etchings by Wiliam Holman Hunt for `The Germ`, 1850, printed on a single sheet, 18 x 10cm.; and a woodcut, `Procession to the Hill` from `The Tale of Cupid and Psyche` of angel musicians playing horns, by William Morris, 10 x 15.5cm. * The Crane item is a design for `Household Stories by Grimms` (Macmillan, 1882), sold at Sothebys Belgravia. The Madox Brown drawing is a study for his `Cromwell, Protector of the Vaudois` (1877, Manchester Art Gallery) and was sold at Christies, London, April 24th, 1975, as part of lot 45 (authenticity confirmed by Mary Bennett, February 2003). The Morris print was exhibited in Julian Hartnoll's `Pre-Raphaelite Graphics` exhibition, March-April 1974, no.48. The four items were purchased by Ronald Pickvance from S. & K. Morris of Stratford upon Avon, April 13th, 1976 for a total of £205.
