A FAMILY GROUP OF FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WAR MEDALS AND EPHEMERA.
Comprising A First World War pair named to 568237 Corporal R. Bishop Royal Engineers. Reginald Bishop is recorded as suffering from Anaemia in July 1919 and serving with Signals Company Royal Engineers. The Second World War group of four comprising 1939-45 and Burma Stars and Defence and War medals with cardboard postal box addressen to F/L D.J. Bishop, 76 Atbara Road, Teddington, Middlessex. Together with a quantity of RAF patches and badges, goggles, flying cap, RAF Pilots Flying log books covering a period from 1941 to 1954 and flight in Dakotas, Avro Anson I, Whitley V and others. Also a selection of family photographs, airtraffic control certificates and other items. The recipients were Father and Son, who are featured in the 'Ancestral Chains' series of books by Mark D. Bishop.
