ROBERT THOMPSON OF KILBURN - MOUSEMAN MONKS CHAIR
a circa 1920s/1930s oak Monk's armchair with a curved back and shaped arms, supported on octagonal legs and x framed stretcher and with a leather seat. The back panel carved with a Latin motto Per Crucem Salus (Salvation through the Cross) and a hand holding a cross. The top rail carved with two faces and the sides carved with Yorkshire Roses. Carved Mouse Signature. 80cms high
