ANTIQUITY:
An Egyptian bronze figure of Osiris of typical mummiform, holding the crook and flail and wearing the atef crown, Late Dynastic Period, circa 664 - 332BC, height excluding base 11cm
Footnote and Provenance: Given to the vendors husband in the early 1970's and thence by descent.
A written inscription to the base reads 'A genuine little god for Desmond to help him with plant identifications. He reminds me of 'Uncle Sam' so he surely is a relative of yours. With all good wishes, Vivi.
