A COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS OF HARRIER JETS ABOARD HERMES.
A collection of 24 black and white 16.5 x 21.5cm photographs of Royal Navy Harrier Jump Jets aboard HMS Hermes, each stamped to the reverse 'Photograhic Section H.M.S. Hermes 15 Nov 1978'. Possibly recording sea trials that took place at this date. Tail markings 'M' and XZ450, D G-VTOL visible. XZ450 was the first Sea Harrier to be lost during the Flaklands conflict when being flown as part of 800 Squadron Fleet Air Arm by Lt Nick Taylor over Goose Green.
