A War Medal named to 19434 Pte W. H. Kightley Oxf & Bucks LI. Private Wilfred Henry Kightley, born c1897 from Coventry was promoted to Lance Corporal before being killed in Action on the 24th August 1916 at the age of 19, whilst serving with the 5th Battalion, he is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. A War Medal named to 1087 Pte G Banner Glouc Regt. Private George Banner from Cheltenham was Killed in Action on the 21st December 1914 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion, he is commemorated at the Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner, Cuinchy, south of Neuve Chapelle. A War Medal named to A202130 Pte T C Pritchard K.R.Rif.C. Thomas George Pritchard was born c1891 in Ledbury, he was Killed in Action on thw 24th December 1917, he is commemorated at the Tyne Cott Cemetry with nearly 35,000 others. A War Medal named to 17084 Pte A Phillips C. Gds, Arthur Phillips was Killed in Action whilst fighting with the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards on the 29th September 1916, He is commemorated at the A.I.F. burial ground at Flers on the Somme. (4)
