*David Brooke was born in Somerset and is now based in West Dorset, he attended the Yeovil School of Art (1972-75) and the Hull College of Art (1975-1978). Many of his paintings originate from mythology, with a feeling of myth or folk lore, and he has exhibited widely through the South West.
