decorated around the sides in relief with two dragons and on the cover in high relief with single dragon amongst wispy clouds, clutching a seed pearl in one of its claws, with central swing handle and a hammered ground, the interior wood-lined and the later-fitted to take a miscellany of non-matching English dressing table items, a page turner, a frame, etc. the box struck twice on the base with Japanese mark "jungin" (meanding pure silver), c.1900; 13.5" (34.3 cms) long
