[In an ALS to Marjorie Forster, 19th December 1943, SS describes Storrs as "a noisy bounder", after they both attended a dinner party given by Lady Cholmondeley, SS's cousin, see lot ] With an ALS from the same to Mr. Fabes (Gilbert Fabes, 1894-1973, bookseller), Wilsford Manor, 12.10.30. 1p., 8vo. "I am very glad to inscribe a copy of my book for anyone who is a friend of Lady Ottoline Morrell…At the age of 44 the wine of popularity does not cause the same intoxication as it might have done ten years earlier."
