Ruth Mary Wood (1899-1980) was an artist and illuminator. She studied at Exeter School of Art and exhibited at Wembley (1924-25) and the Paris and Zurich Internationals (1925-26). Her published illustrative work includes The Adventures of Gabriel in his Search for Mr Shaw. In later life, she was an instructor at Exeter School of Art and lived in Honiton, Devon.
